With precise attention to detail, three-dimensional subjects captured by Corcoran’s lens become two dimensional studies in geometry, color and texture. These images combine structural and organic elements to create tension with grace and flow from their glass, steel and brick origins.

Working as a commercial architectural photographer, Randall has an intimate familiarity of his subject, finding beauty in the simplest structures. Scale and form are his foundation, mixing light and shadow, giving these architectural elements voices, shapes and textures. His mastery of angle and form take the viewer beyond specific detail, giving the images strength, tension and balance.

Randall has had the opportunity to photograph some of the west coast’s greatest works of architecture. His passion for his personal work continues to challenge him to capture new levels of complexity and elemental detail.
